Davina's 3rd day in childcare

Seems like Davina is realising what's with "sending her to school"... that she will be staying in "sch" for the whole day. She wont let mummy leave, and had insisted mummy go into the childcare with her.

When mummy told her that mummy has to return to work, she actually shaked her head furiously and started crying, said "mummy bu yao zuo gong, mummy hui lai" (mummy don't go to work, mummy come back).

Haiz, it's quite a heartache to see her cry so badly. She hasn't been eating much in the childcare, but thankfully she still takes her afternoon naps. Prob cos she doesn't eat much in the childcare, she asks for food when she reaches nanny's place at night! And boy, can she eat! Her routine for the past 2 nights, she will ask for dinner (says "yao chi fan") before she takes her shower. And she gulps down her water cup after cup, apparently she drank a total of 5 cups of water last night! Haha, thank GOD she can speak quite well now and is able to make her wishes known.

today, mummy stayed with her during breakfast and sneaked away when her teacher brought her into the classroom to watch cartoon. mummy did call the childcare, Davina cried for a while when she couldn't find mummy. But the teachers distracted her and when mummy called, she was playing with her teacher.

The next "crying time" - when it's nap time. According to the teachers, Davina cried and looked for papa, mummy and her auntie-mama (nanny) during her nap time for the past 2 days. And her teacher had to carry her to coax her to sleep. but good thing, she is able to sleep for 1.5 hrs. Only when she comes home at night, she has been crying and waking up from her sleep.

well, it'll take time for Dav to settle down in the childcare. But trust me, daddy and mummy are giving her the attention when we bring her back home every night. After all, she is still our no. 1 "bao bei".
